Sports, Medicine and Health Summit 2025

From 26–28 June 2025, EU-TRAINS was represented by our partner Deutsche Sporthochschule Köln (DSHS) at the Sports, Medicine and Health Summit in Hamburg. The event gathered experts from sports science, medicine, and health innovation, offering an excellent platform to present the project’s vision and connect with potential stakeholders through its dedicated Matchmaking Area.

TU/e Mechanical Engineering Innovation Day 2025

On 23 June 2025, EU-TRAINS was featured at the Mechanical Engineering Innovation Day of TU/e Eindhoven University of Technology. Researcher Tommaso Bo presented a poster titled “Multiplexed Microfluidic System for Continuous Sweat Monitoring in Athletes”, showcasing innovative work on wearable biosensing technologies within the project. This internal event offered visibility among academic peers and highlighted EU-TRAINS’ contribution to the future of sports monitoring and health technologies.

NanoTech Conference and Expo 2025 – The TechConnect World Innovation Conference and Expo

Our project partner Łukasiewicz – Institute of Microelectronics and Photonics (IMiF) showcased cutting-edge technologies at the TechConnect World Innovation Conference & Expo in Austin, Texas — as the only exhibitor from Poland. From visionary conversations to real-world applications, IMiF is actively building international visibility and contributing to global discussions on microelectronics, including the future of semiconductor policy and the role of initiatives like EU-TRAINS.

EPoSS Annual Forum 2025

From 3–6 June 2025, EU-TRAINS was represented at the EPoSS Annual Forum, a key European event for smart systems integration and innovation. Grzegorz Janczyk from Łukasiewicz – IMiF contributed to a panel discussion and presentation, sharing the project’s vision for AI-powered wearable technologies and their role in advancing sports performance and remote healthcare. The forum offered an important opportunity to connect with European stakeholders, industry leaders, and policy representatives, reinforcing EU-TRAINS’ position within the smart systems community.

SEMICON SEA 2025 – Singapore

From 20–22 May 2025, Łukasiewicz – IMiF represented EU-TRAINS at SEMICON Southeast Asia, one of the region’s most important technology exhibitions. As part of the Polish Pavilion, invited by the Polish Embassy in Singapore, IMiF promoted its technologies and ongoing projects, including EU-TRAINS. A project flyer and slides were showcased during a dedicated presentation, highlighting EU-TRAINS’ innovative approach to AI-powered wearables and smart health monitoring. The visit also included meetings with Nanyang Technological University Singapore – Institute of Photonics and the National GaN Technology Centre (NGTC), creating opportunities for international networking and future collaboration.

Laser-Technika Poland 2025

On 13–15 May 2025, Łukasiewicz – IMiF took part in the Laser-Technika Poland Conference and Expo at Ptak Expo in Nadarzyn, Poland, as a strategic partner and sponsor of the event. With a dedicated booth, IMiF promoted its technologies and distributed EU-TRAINS project flyers and other promotional materials. The conference, themed “Laser Innovations for a Sustainable Future: Industry | Laser Innovations | Defense and Security”, offered excellent visibility and networking opportunities with industry and research stakeholders.
